Ideal Contracting was awarded four individual bid packages which consisted of the site work, foundations, steel fabrication, and installation of a new loading rack and process unit to load Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) into rail cars.

Steel fabrication was performed by Ideal Steel and required the factory installation of intumescent fire proofing coating. Ideal Contracting self-performed site work, concrete forming, placement and finishing, and structural steel installation, along with the installation of owner provided specialty equipment. Ideal worked hand in hand with MEP’s to accelerate portions of the work to meet the owner’s aggressive schedule. The project was completed on time with zero recordable incidents.
