PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Ideal Contracting served as the Steel Erector on the new HYCO facility, built, owned, and operated by Air Products. The project consisted of 13 "MEGA" modules ranging from 50,000 to 350,000 lbs. Ideal, through the help of Ruby Associates, developed and utilized engineering plans incorporating triple 999 and 1600 crawler cranes. In addition, Ideal also erected the reformer walls and truss boxes. The HYCO facility now feeds Marathon refinery with the Hydrogen and is used in the process of producing fuel.
