Our GM Renaissance Team Breaks a Record

Category: News

The General Motors Renaissance team has had a record-breaking streak by maintaining an incident and injury free work zone for the last four years. At Ideal, our number one priority is safety. We encourage employees to live, lead, and empower each other to ensure everyone goes home safely. Creating a safe environment is not possible without the hard work and dedication of our employees. The Ideal team at General Motors Renaissance Center has worked every day to ensure the safety of their team.

“I think what makes the team at Ren Cen special is the importance that all of us put on safety. We follow Ideal’s and our customer’s safety programs to the best of our ability and always make safety our number one priority. I like to make sure that every person who works for us at the Ren Cen knows how important safety is to me and that they can talk to me about any safety issues. Together we will figure out the right way to get the job done.”

Fred Winstanley, Superintendent

The team is currently working on three key projects which include developing an existing empty space, remodeling ten General Motors common areas, and reworking two existing conference rooms to create one. In addition to the key projects, the team works with CBRE on approximately 75 projects annually which consist of emergency response projects, site maintenance, and facility upgrades. With a man-power of approximately six Ideal employees and up to 30 sub-contractors, they ensure that the Renaissance Center is kept at exceptional conditions for the occupants.

Congratulations to the Renaissance Center team on such a great accomplishment!
