Inspiring an Entrepreneurial Spirit Holy Redeemer

Category: Community, News

A six-week course, the Entrepreneurial Class at Holy Redeemer, teaches fourth graders all about entrepreneurship and marketing. Ideal began the program three years ago as a way to introduce innovation at a young age.

“We appreciate the mentor-ship of the Ideal Marketing Department with our 4th grade Entrepreneur program. This program offers a fun way for our students to learn about economics, use math skills and communication skills in a collaborative setting,” stated Mary Beth Kiley, Principal of Holy Redeemer Grade School.

There are 17 students in this year’s entrepreneurship class. Each week, students will learn about different Marketing concepts, including how to create a logo, a slogan, and how pitch their sale to their peers. Each team must stay within their $25 budget for their marketing campaigns.
