Three new press pits were constructed to accommodate one 1,100 ton press and two 800 ton presses.  The existing building constrained the excavation of the press pits and a shoring system was necessary in order to reach the elevations required.   Pits were formed and poured with steel reinforcing.  35,000 sq. ft. of new concrete slab was also removed and replaced.
